Our History
The Origins of the Apostolic Christian Church
The Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarean) had its beginnings in Switzerland with the preaching of Samuel Heinrich Froelich (1803-1857). The Lord used him to proclaim His Word in power and simplicity, and the proof of his ministry was a spiritual awakening that spread like fire. In spite of intense persecution, congregations sprung up all over the cantons of Switzerland, and beyond to Germany, Eastern Europe and around the globe
Our Identity
A legacy of Heritage and Faithfulness
When the Nazareans from Europe came to North America, it was necessary to select a name for the fledgling denomination. The name "Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarean)" was selected by our spiritual fathers because they sought to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. We strive to remain true to that goal, in spite of a relativistic culture and many confusing voices within Christianity.
Our Mission
Proclaiming Timeless Truth, Inspiring True Faith
The members of the Apostolic Christian Church live to glorify God by faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grounding our lives in the infallible truth of the Bible, and calling all people to repentance, faith, and a life of discipleship. Rooted in the apostolic faith and Anabaptist heritage, we are committed to upholding biblical truth, nurturing disciples, and compassionately sharing the message of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and the nations.
